ApexBNC Rules:

*** Disregarding any of the below rules may result in a warning, account suspension, or outright deletion and possible loss of all future access to ApexBNC services. Each incident is handled on a case-by-case basis. ***

– Register your nickname
In order to request an ZNC, you will need to have a registered nickname on PTirc network and join the #ApexBNC channel.

To register a nickname, use the following command: /NickServ register <password> <email@address>

– No Requests from Hosting Providers
We do not accept requests from hosting providers, including VPNs, Virtual Private Servers, Tor, IRCcloud, or other bouncer services. What constitutes a “hosting provider” is at the discretion of ApexBNC staff.

– Network Restrictions
Do not attempt to connect to any banned networks. For a list of banned networks, please refer to the relevant information on our site.

– One Account per Person
Do not attempt to register multiple accounts or accounts on behalf of someone else.

– Unlimited Networks
Users are allowed to connect to an unlimited number of networks. However, you must request for any new networks to be added to your account.

– Profile Settings
Quit Messages, and CTCP VERSION replies are not to be changed. You may manage other CTCP replies, such as blocking DCC attempts.

– Activity Requirements
Minimal activity is required for account retention: you must connect within 7 days of your account request being accepted. After that, connect at least once per month to prevent your account from being removed (at admin discretion).

– Idle/Channel Stuffing Accounts
Do not register an account for purely idling or channel stuffing purposes. We do not provide accounts for the purpose of padding channel user counts.

– No Evasion of Bans
Do not attempt to evade channel or network bans using an ApexBNC account. Harassment or spamming of users, channels, or networks is strictly prohibited.

– Respect Admin Decisions
Respect the decisions of the admin. If you are advised to wait before requesting an account or making changes, you are expected to comply.

– Ident Replies
Ident replies are tied directly to your ZNC username, which is your nickname on PTirc network. Changes to ident replies are not allowed.

– IPv6 Only
ApexBNC is IPv6-only. Access to IPv4 servers/networks is not possible at this time, so please don’t ask.
